She is explains Scatology to me. Then, she said, “So taste that.”
You can/will find this gem on the “that guy” album. In fact, this song was the last one developed for the album so THIS is the “Baker’s Dozen tune.
And you can/will listen to the song here on YouTube.
And I Ask
The genesis of this song was the building/anticipatory nature of the chords for the Introduction and the Outro. One of the valuable components of a song is an attention-grabbing start (think the Beatles’ A Hard Day’s Night or Help). After 100+ songs, such a beginning sometimes comes naturally and sometimes, it requires hunting. This was a hunt. I don’t (already!) remember where the melody and lyrics come from but, it is always fairly easy to write things that describe how I feel about Giselle.

I can spend the whole day gazing at mountains and the sea
Watching nature dance with grace all around me
And I ask
Would this be beautiful if I was not in love?

I have spent my whole life gazing at mountains and the sea
People come and go with and without me
And I ask
What would become of me if I never fell in love?
Nothing is more beautiful than you

Everything is beautiful because of you
