You will find the Wrong Woman on the Polarity album

Wrong Woman

This is the third of three songs by Steve Behal that you will find on the Polarity album. It was recorded the same day and way as Suede Boots and Wide Awake Most of the Night. The vocal harmonies are provided by me and Jeannie. I will leave it to Steve to tell you why he wrote this song. Maybe he will, maybe not!

Wrong Woman

A         A         E         E
A                          E
So damn pretty, I lost my mind
A                                E
Smile so engaging sent me euphorically high
A                                  E
Hurled to the stars, made me feel f’n great
           B7                           B7
But the end is coming and I just can’t wait

You touched me baby, once upon a time
In a former life’s dream, you were quite sublime
You loved me in the morning and loved me right
But I learned not to trust you one dark winter’s night

You’re the wrong woman, I heard myself say
The words came outa nowhere on my voice today
Oh, you’re the wrong woman, I feel in my bones
I gotta get moving or I’ll lose my soul

That feeling just happened like a chemical rush
A brush with the Devil or, an Angel’s touch
It don’t really matter, that time is long gone
My life is too short to be lamenting that song

Chorus

Graffiti on the highway, bold and stark
Rattle my brain with a peculiar remark
Made me go deep, it had been a while
But, I ended up with my old young man’s smile
      E         A         E
And I feel fine…

Instrumental Verse

 Chorus x 3 fade
