The Quandary
I got intrigued by the simple back and forth of Am-E with the eventual falling off to A#. Then, what to do? So, I gave verses two endings: one to allow another verse and the other to stop the song entirely for a breather before a restart. I had the lyrics laying around for a long time (months or a year or two). All play on words and nonsense. The result is a quiet, repetitious song that asked for a quiet voice and a surprise finish. So, I made up a finish that breaks from the song's pattern completely.
